“Declaration of Constitutional Principles”

General Principles:
- The individual component of the polity is the person, which is defined as any being consisting of or having the essential cognitive attributes of a member of the species homo sapiens, including both the capacity to compete with others for the means to exercise the natural rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and the capacity to regulate its competitive actions to avoid depriving others of those rights and to sacrifice itself for the greater good of the polity as a whole or for their common posterity.
- The polity, or society, is created by the social contract, in which persons agree to join together for mutual benefit and defense, and to regulate their behavior to avoid forms of competition which are destructive of social coherence and effectiveness, such as violence, deception, or collusion, coercion or to infringe on the rights of others.
- Acceptance of the terms of the social contract is effected through, and based upon, a restricted form of the social contract called the filial contract, between parents and their children, in which the parents agree to be good parents and the children agree to be good children and to grow into good adults and members of society. As persons grow, they extend the social contract to others they encounter.
- The social contract is transitive, so that it extends to and includes not only those with whom one is in direct contact, but all those with whom those one is in direct contact with are bound to by the social contract as well, and therefore by recursion to all those persons who are members of the society, even if one has never met them.
- A state is a society in exclusive possession of a territory. It is not the government. A state may or may not have a government, although larger ones almost always do.
- A citizen is a person who has the civil right to remain within the territory of a state and to return to it if he leaves it, the right to delegate powers to agents who comprise any government of that state, and the duty to defend that state.
- A government consists of those persons to whom certain powers held by the citizens in common are delegated, to act as agents for those citizens, exercising only such powers as are delegated to them, and according to their instructions. That delegation and those instructions constitute an extension of the basic social contract called the constitution, which may be written or unwritten.
- A delegation of powers is not a transfer or assignment, and may be reclaimed at any time that the citizens, in their judgement, find that their agents are not acting in accordance with their wishes.
[This is the ONLY nation in the history of mankind able to perform and institute "..evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government..." and Article I:6 and Article II:4.]
- The authority of an agent or official exists only for as long and to the extent that he exercises his legitimate powers properly, and he automatically ceases to be an agent or official if he exceeds his authority. ... .
- Upon establishment of the social contract, the natural right of what in the state of nature would be self defense is transformed into the duty to defend the state and the constitution, including
oneself as a member of the state.
- Defense of the state and the constitution includes defense against threats of all kinds, including invasion or attack, insurrection, criminal acts, natural or manmade disasters, or public [and private person(s)] ignorance or apathy.
- The duty to defend the state and the constitution entails the right to acquire the means and the skills to exercise that duty, including the skills of the soldier, the policeman, and the fire and rescue worker, to be organized to act alone or in concert with others to exercise those skills to meet any threat that may arise, and the power to exercise those skills and use those means, alone or in concert with others, with or without official direction or participation.
- A citizen not only has the duty to obey the law [which are the Laws of Nature and Of Nature’s God], but to help enforce it, within his ability, and to do what he can to prepare himself and others to do so.
- In a constitutional republic, the constitution is the supreme law, superior to all other public acts, whether by officials or private citizens. Any statute, regulation, executive order, or court ruling which is inconsistent with that supreme law and not derived from it is unconstitutional and null and void from inception.
- There are several ways in which statutes or other official acts may be unconstitutional: [We’ll skip this 12 part, subsection, Hamilton Test for Legislation, for now...It is included...]
- An unconstitutional statute is not a law, no matter how vigorously it may be enforced. Enforcement does not make what is enforced the law. What is enforced is a regime. In a
constitutional republic, the law and the regime should coincide. If they do not, the regime is not law but anti-law.
- Whenever any person is confronted with a situation in which two or more official acts are in conflict, he has the duty to know which is the superior one, and to obey or help enforce the superior one, which, if one of them is the constitution, means to obey or help enforce the constitution. This duty cannot be delegated to another person: not to a superior, a court, or a legal adviser. It is not a defense that one was ignorant of the law or just doing one's job or following orders. This is sometimes called the Principle of Nuremberg. [This is important part of enforcing The Ten Commandments; and God’s commands regarding the responsibility of “The Sentinel” or “The Guardian” in Ezekiel 33; and in the Integrity of each-one-person,

- The judgement of the consistency of an official act with the constitution is called constitutional review. When this duty is performed by a judge, it is called judicial review. It is not a power of government but the exercise of a duty of citizenship.”

“Declaration of Constitutional Principles” bridges the Constitution to the Lessons, Instruction, and enforcement in the Declaration, the Laws of Both Founding Documents.
Contrary to popular belief, including the Article III Judiciary’s court rulings and among church denomination with ecclesiastics, there is a direct connection, written by the Founders (and the Colonists of 1770), of God to Both Documents, therefore The Gospel: The Preamble to the Constitution, which establishes Person as the subject of protection, and Article II and VI: Oath of Office - each-one-individual elected or otherwise, official of government, Integrity in Promise to preserve, protect, and defend the rights and privileges of any American whether within the territory of a State or the whole of the polity of our Article IV:4 Republican Form of Government which guarantees protection from invasion, attack and infringement of rights.

God created man in His own image. God’s image does not include anatomy, physiology, neurology of Body. The reason there is no physical or environmental descriptions of “person” beyond essential cognitive attributes.

You have never seen, nor have you any knowledge of the 5W’s and H that encompasses how We the People shall petition and use Resolution, to instill in our “Representatives”, not Congress-members, that they are, indeed, accountable to each-one-Citizen and to their person to God, or the Morality of Affirmation.

How Delphi Technique is utilized in the microcosm of the TERC Board*:
Subjective: This Patriot of our Republic under God presented “Introduction”which contains the 2 major goals: 1) Returning our Party to the Party of Principle; and 2) Awakening Americans of God and Nation First, that our Republic shall be completely destroyed; unless We the People learn and teach others, The Lessons, Instructions, and Enforcement within the Laws of Both Founding Documents; and by “Religion and Morality” – God’s Laws from The Gospel: Glenn Beck: “I think we’re closer to the Truth. The power resides in you, the individual. The power is not in Washington. It is closer to home.” with the comment: “Yes. But the task before US(A) - one-at-a-time, is to return to our Father and our Lord Jesus..They haven't gone anywhere... Consent of the Governed and We the People, in and out of the roles of duty, honor, service of public and private office-leadership, have gotten lost, allowed fear to rule in the interest of evil's ignorance through violence, deceit, collusion, and coercion.
Before the meeting, reminded of the June announcement, the President said “That was for the ‘public’ part of the meeting; the private part you can stay and listen.”. He proceeded to state a litany of reasons why “Open Mic”. would not be allowed.
At no time was returning to the Party of Principle or the Laws of Both Founding Documents with the nature of the enemy within, i.e. the “2009Obama-Marxist-Alinsky-Socialist-man supreme to God because there is no universal / fixed Truth and because Constitutional principle: “The individual component of the polity is the Person...” with individual religion and morality, cannot be allowed, nor allowed to exist unless in and among the Julian Huxley/UNESCO - “collectivism” and the ‘fist of force and control’ the absolute ruler in despotism. “Obama-modern Marxist-Alinsky” contains the techniques and tactics for the destruction of the Republic, though the words are “proletariat” and “capitalist” plus “dogma”..
Right now, and for the foreseeable future, the futility of Americans for God and Nation First continue fighting Obama-Lucifer-Alinsky using the ‘Obama-Alinskyite deck of cards’ dealt to all life’s roles for group-think designation of coercion and force compliance, is the rule of law for the “Socialist Regions”, to supplant and usurp the 1620 colonies and 1789 States, in the Alinskyite-Anti-law of groups by race / culture; by degree of illness – including completely absent illness; by removing ‘consent of the governed’ in controlling every, single aspect of the vote.
Linda and I, among the Learning to teach other Americans of God and Nation First, We the People need to change their attack by utilizing our Lord God’s “Terrible Swift Sword”, the sentinel’s duty to blow the horn alerting the people that He is coming and all shall be judged by Him based upon each-one’s Pledge of their individual: “..Lives, Fortunes meaning: “ Properly, chance; accident; luck; the arrival of something in a sudden or unexpected manner; The good or ill that befalls man; Success, good or bad; event; The chance of life; means of living; wealth; “..and Sacred Honor meaning: “The esteem due or paid to worth; high estimation; A testimony of esteem; any expression of respect or of high estimation by words or actions; Dignity; exalted rank or place; distinction; Reverence; veneration; or any act by which reverence and submission are expressed, as worship paid to the Supreme Being; True nobleness of mind; magnanimity; dignified respect for character, springing from probity, principle or moral rectitude; a distinguishing trait in the character of good men.”.
The Handouts given to the Board included: James Madison’s “Property”; “Declaration of Constitutional Principles”; “The American Patriot’s Bible, The Word of God and the Shaping of America - cover-piece with the reverse Dr. Richard G. Lee’s “A Call to Action”.
“Call to Action”, unknown to Dr. Lee, also describes the attack-method by the “Obama-Alinsky-man supreme to God and absent universal Truth: “Instead the primary assault would be on Biblical absolutes and Christian values, which must be crushed as a social force before the new face of Communism could rise and flourish. Malachi Martin gave us a progress report: "By 1985, the influence of traditional Christian philosophy in the West was weak and negligible.... Gramsci's master strategy was now feasible. Humanly speaking, it was no longer too tall an order to strip large majorities of men and women in the West of those last vestiges that remained to them of Christianity's transcendent God.".
Also on hand was a photocopy of the first two pages from March 12, 1770's “Boston Gazette and Country Journal”; “The Delphi Technique”; “Common Core Curriculum”(Orlean Kochle); an article which allows the Dept. of Labor to give 7.5 Million, Taxpayer-Grant dollars to S.D. Metro United Methodist Urban Ministry at the overcrowded Malcolm X Library in Emerald Hills; two articles illustrating “Obama-alinsky’s socialist state” tactic 13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...'Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?' When your 'freeze the target,' you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments.... Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the 'others' come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target...' "One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other." (pps.127-134). .
The 2 requests: 1) “Open Mic.”: during the mix as people arrive before the formal meeting. It is not an addition of time to the charged rental-time of the meeting place. 2) How part of the time, 10 to 15 min. would be used for the purpose of “Learning and Teaching the Laws of Both Founding Documents” and how to apply those laws to eradicate the “If weapons are needed, then are appropriate weapons available? Availability of means determines whether you will be underground or above ground; whether you will move quickly or slowly..." p.36".
The meeting was ‘called to order’ by the President – No Pledge. No Robert’s Rules of Order which is required from the State of California Republican Party Bylaws; as is respect and support of the Constitution of the United States and therefore, the State of California.
This Patriot was instructed, before all the Board members arrived and again, after they arrived, by the President that the first item would be the “open Mic.”; that the open Mic. would not be allowed; that “We aren’t Rush Limbaugh.” while not answering “Cliff Sumrall’s use of open Mic.
Linda Dombrowski was introduced. The Board knows me...totally negative. It became quickly apparent that at no time would the reason the Party needs to return to Principle, or the nature of the enemy would be allowed in the presentation and the answer, already cemented into the demonstration of the enemy within’s “opinion without interference regardless of frontier”, Article 19 from UDHR and #4 from WSIS Declaration of Principles. where opinion does not require or even want knowledge for wisdom and the Truth of our Republic under God.
Obama-Alinsky tactic #13 Tactic, Delphi Technique, and “feelings” and “relationships” of Obama-Alinsky’s person-ality much more important than any issue, value, thought or problem solving utilizing the instructions from Both Founding Documents. The Board’s working order was Unfreeze - Move - Refreeze of Obama-Alinsky-socialist- reigned supreme: never allow any idea or issue which does not agree with the opinion, probability of truth but absent knowledge and wisdom-truth not required. The “Delphi Technique” represents how the meeting’s order of expression of relationships shall occur. The reason “Robert’s Rules of Order are extinct from most, if not all political meetings...”Party: A number of persons united in opinion or design, in opposition to others in the community. It differs from faction, in implying a less dishonorable association, or more justifiable designs. Parties exist in all governments; and free governments are the hot-beds of party.”.
The President demanded submission to the no ‘open mic’; and the VP loved to say “Your speaking to the choir” but had no idea of what is contained in the words and music..
Have you noticed, yet, that something is missing from this interchange, so far?
Not one member of the Board had any idea; and they were the ones saying that no-one needed information about the Laws of Both Founding Documents, let alone lessons, instruction or the most important reason: Enforcement.
In the Board’s tirade to overcome the inquisition of this Patriot, the most important and missed lesson was “Bound” in God because of One-Person’s-Obligation, Oath of Office / Pledge of Allegiance, in honor and integrity to represent the People in protecting the tools and lessons of God in Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God and in the equity of each-one-person’s Soul – which is unique to that person – his separate and equal station, for with God no person is greater or lesser than another; and “ The concept of Man's spiritual nature, and the resulting concept of the supreme dignity and value of each Individual, provide the fundamental basis for each Individual's self-respect and the consequent mutual respect among Individual's. This self-respect as well as this mutual respect are the outgrowth of, and evidenced by, The Individual's maintenance of his God-given, unalienable rights. They are maintained by requiring that government and other Individuals respect them, as well as by his dedication to his own unceasing growth toward realization of his highest potential--spiritually, morally, intellectually, in every aspect of life. This is in order that he may merit maximum respect by self and by others.” (Hamilton A. Long).
The Board’s President and vice President certainly demonstrated their obedience to “Obama-Anti-law-socialist regime’s” “rule of law” by their great and sacred god-number-Majority, but absent knowledge, wisdom and truth; the bastardized Democracy by this 2009 until the metastatic cancer Regime”is obliterated. But they don’t want it obliterated. They have trouble with the principle: “An unconstitutional statute is not a law, no matter how vigorously it may be enforced. Enforcement does not make what is enforced the law. What is enforced is a regime. In our Constitutional Republic, the law and the regime should coincide. If they do not, the regime is not law but anti-law.”. — this is among the “Declaration of Constitutional Principles” confiscated by the President before the meeting started; for We the People are totally incapable of declaring government good or evil, right or wrong...solely Article III Judiciary is qualified...examples abound for the fact that a court is just like a church, or a state, collective people who determine and instruct the Lord God regarding the 5W’s and H of justice absent Truth.
I addressed the demonstrated on FB and newsletters, emails and faxes; phone calls and confrontation, the futile, frozen, never to be recognized We the People; for the “Obama-Marxist-Alinsky Regime” has no intention of 1789 Oath, Religion and Morality from We the People; and much less from the collective, mass, people representing the fingers of the fist, cemented in control removed from ‘consent of the governed in protecting rights of any kind. Also, that Program Presenters are never, actually shouldn't have to be instructed, to allow for question and answer time. The Delphi of top-down, demonstrated at the meeting, telling the members what they are to think and agree to follow. Contrary thoughts expressed must be suppressed.
For example: a candidate for office never having to declare his Oath of Office stand and protect the certain unalienable rights or even recognize when a Law of Nature or of Nature’s God is violated which also violates the protection of the rights of, by, and for the People; his propensity to speak one idea and act against that idea once in office - regardless of the location that candidate may be working to occupy in the Federalism equilateral triangle.
The President saw the “American Patriot’s Bible, The Word of God and the Shaping of America” and said, proudly “This is my Bible. I love this Bible.”. I said “Yes and it can be read from both sides.” – which he totally missed. ... As do many of the secular deists among the church of ceremony in lip service, but must be separate from state. But then, even the homo sapiens with essential cognitive attributes, specializing in law missed that point in adjudicating from the 1947 Everson v. the New York Board of Education; and all the others among Article III.
Objective: The Board, or at least two of the seven members present, declared that Obama-Alinsky-Socialist Regime’s Delphi Technique of group-think-conformity to Anti-law is supreme to “The sum of all is, if we would most truly enjoy the gift of Heaven, let us become a virtuous people; then shall we both deserve and enjoy it. For the “singers in the Board’s choir” do not know the words or the music of the Laws of the Founders and refuse to believe that God’s Laws are Law; and in their cacophony of support for those they say, in lip-service, they oppose; as they “.. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. .... One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...”; against person(s) who actually take action to stand, protect and defend The Laws of Both Founding Documents.
The Board did not understand they were using Alinsky-Delphi of the enemy within.
The Board did not even consider its membership’s opinion in regard to the reason for “Republicans, including Conservatives, Teapartiers, Independents, and Libertarians, returning to “The Party of Principle” in “POLITICS: The science of government; that part of ethics which consists in the regulation and government of a nation or state, for the preservation of its safety, peace and prosperity; comprehending the defense of its existence and rights against foreign control or conquest, the augmentation of its strength and resources, and the protection of its citizens in their rights, with the preservation and improvement of their morals. Politics, as a science or an art, is a subject of vast extent and importance.”; And
Violation of both free speech and grievance are repudiated by a part of the party which does not recognize their judgement absent knowledge, wisdom for Truth, and therefore decides person(s) shall not interfere with their preconceived conclusions of right and wrong activities, though top-down-exclusion-of opponents to the establishment, but absent 1789 Constitutional law.
The Board cannot conceive of the need for every-individual-constitutional person understanding how One Person protected in “separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them....certain, unalienable, Natural Rights.
The magnificence and beauty of logic contained in Both Founding Documents, alone, speak volumes of love for God, respect for each other, and for individual people who will never be known on a personal level; but God commands and Jesus Teaches...and delivers in absolute Truth and Trust...every Promise made to man, alone or in a nation if you follow His commands; ask, seek, and find all an individual within a family, town, county, State, or Federal level of our unique Federalism organization of governance..
The Board decided that person must submit to their ‘time’ absent reason; that the Republic under God destroyed is very much less important than ‘the program’ which allows agreement, never disagree or if you do – shut up, sit down and be obedient to the ‘program of the party.
This attitude is offered in ignorance, the reason why “Introduction“ was created: To waken and give action to We the People, because Consent of the Governed is destroyed.

This Patriot was instructed, before all the Board members arrived and again, after they arrived, by the President that the first item would be the “open Mic.”; that the open Mic. would not be allowed; that “We aren’t Rush Limbaugh.” while not answering “Cliff Sumrall’s use of open Mic.

I addressed the demonstrated on FB and newsletters, emails and faxes; phone calls and confrontation, the futile, frozen, never to be recognized We the People; for the “Obama-Marxist-Alinsky Regime” has no intention of 1789 Oath, Religion and Morality from We the People; and much less from the collective, mass, people representing the fingers of the fist, cemented in control removed from ‘consent of the governed in protecting rights of any kind. Separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them..One Person on God's Planet
My brother, Donald Norman West, returned to Jesus Christ last February. I haven’t spoken of his Immortal Soul passing because I knew and loved him very, very much. He was a man of God and Nation First, a Father to his son, James, and daughter, Nicole; a husband with all the ‘life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness that entails when cleaving to his wife, Ilene; a loyal, supportive, patient friend to many individual Persons among all of his life’s roles. Don gave of himself to the best of his ability at all times and in all circumstances. Jesus knows him and loves him.
The number 5 Commandment: “Honor Thy Mother and Thy Father.”. Father and Mother did perform their sacred honor in making sure Older brother, Charles Edward “Cap” West, and myself, the middle-sister of attention, and Don were well taught “Of all dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports...Let it simply be asked, where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice?”, with the knowledge, wisdom, a.k.a reason / reflect / relate-understand connections both seen and unseen of those two Axioms of “separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them....Our specific, unique “family”. It wasn’t large, but it was “great” and expansive in knowledge, wisdom, support, coaching, patience - often needed, in silence which occurs with youth lacking understanding and making huge mistakes about the individual Persons comprising our family: Great Aunt Ruth, Great Uncle Don, Aunt June, Uncle Jack (late 30's, Spring Training with NY Yankees at first base), cousin (and my sister who has loved and protected me ever since little girl) Kay, cousin Jack, a great friend and still great ‘drummer’, in past with “Tijuana Brass”.
The Five of us ‘The kids’, had and are having, the wonderful privilege, threat / opportunity, risk / reward, strength / weakness of growing up in the aftermath of WWII with all its “Course of Human Event: - of Satan, man’s inhumanity to mankind of proportions not even closely met by the worse of any among the “Human event of radical Jihad / Sharia Law, their false god of man supreme to The Creator of Life; contrasted with some of the greatest achievements in the history of mankind on earth, the magnificence of which, occurred because of One Person’s life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness as “purpose-goal through serendipity-peculiarity of circumstances in invention, research and development - all living and inanimate objects - tools of the unique knowledge, wisdom, Truth which an unique individual made, or had happen, - to himself and by discursion...to those he knew and even those he would never know... : Laws of Nature’s God.
God and Christ are so magnificent. There aren’t really any words for Them are there? Just Do What They Tell You To Do. There is “..no religious Test..” that is able to be applied to state of man in the role of governance; for man as a collective-group becomes an indifferent, living object subject to the top-down decisions made by the few, who declare themselves greater than the sum of the Whole comprising that ‘state’; rather than just One Person in Oath of Office; in Truth to “One People” on earth; and in Duty, Honor, Service because of “Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. ..” .
Because of Mother, all of us learned to face, and with a mixture of success and failure, the very, very hard, personal ‘owning of accountability ‘ among the most difficult challenges presented in each of our lives in relation to the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God accompanying the paths of righteousness to the very, very small, narrow gate to return, upon judgement of “Deeds not words.” to Heaven: Facing when you lied, did perform a wrong or sinful act, or other giving-up something you valued at that point-of-knowledge, wisdom - liberty and pursuit in our life stories. That is the reason knowledge, wisdom for Truth begins in The Bible or The Torah or for those person’s absent the name God or Jesus Christ — their sense of “Justice: The virtue which consists in giving to every one what is his due; practical conformity to the laws and to principles of rectitude in the dealings of men with each other; honesty; integrity in commerce or mutual intercourse.”.
Don was a leader: We went on a hike down “Bright Angel Trail”, switch-back down into the Grand Canyon and back up, hiking. When the bunch of people got together, no-one knew the others in the group, and we were spread out along the trail. That night there was a campfire. Some like me, were tired and just went to bed, trying to decide how the heck I was going to hike-UP Bright Angel Trail; but Don with others sat around the campfire with quiet talking and laughing. ..
I started to overhear. I heard Don talking and sharing.... and the group became a whole of individual, persons sharing with each other - experiences. You might doubt that Don made a difference; but the group didn’t start talking at all until just after the campfire got started... It was after Don related an experience that laughter and warmth of the fire and surroundings that opened the sharing. Don and I shared love of genuine, “sneak preview movies” at Fox Village, hiking, tennis, fishing (except me - I couldn’t kill the worm or the fish - used salmon eggs and never caught anything). Mother, Dad, Cap, Don, myself never said, out-loud, much about our love for each other, though at that time it wasn’t the word...just a way of keeping in touch with what moved heart in love of learning and life of sharing with complete Trust in each other. I was very independent, didn’t join-in; as well as a ‘big sister’. Don often had to ‘tolerate’ under very trying circumstances only the little brother of a family often does, or persevere, because that’s also learning Nature’s God.
Don was a risk-taker: He went one of the last basic training classes in Monterrey Bay, CA and was chosen to attend Officers Candidate School at Fort Benning. . He telephoned me from Fort Benning one day. I was very surprised and very proud and pleased. He said “I’m going to quit this!”. Much words to the dictatorial, unreasonable, punishing attitudes of the “Sargent” or whatever rank was involved. I just listened... then I heard this: “If the shoes in your locker are not on the line, absolutely correct, the whole area is torn apart.”I was an RN-Diploma Grad at the time working at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles in the then 4West Cancer - leukemia area.
I explained to him, the shoes Must Be Perfect, or you lose your Squad. Every single, minute detail Must Be Considered. Once Don heard that, it was all he needed... he flew through OCS. Don’t think I’m relating this because I knew... I didn’t know, except I knew who Don was...and I knew that all he required was that little link to connect the whole. I’m using words in writing this now, I didn’t have when the conversation took place; and I was in my own “learning hardship” - chronic lymphocytic leukemia was not chronic – it was a terminal diagnosis.
He then worked with the R&D which developed ‘night vision’ glasses - though that was ‘classified’ at the time. I think he left the service a Captain.
Years passed and there were problems with Ilene, me, Nicole and Jim; but the highlight for me was being a “Chaperon” accompanying Nicole’s 8th Grade class to Washington DC for the up at 5am, bed at 2am, about 6 day tour which included Mt. Vernon, Montecito, Gettysberg, with lunch at Pennsylvania Dutch Restaurant of “Bump don’t Bell”. At the time, before Hussain attacked Kuwait, we didn’t even consider the ramifications. We were silent together for several moments. I’m not even sure what I said to him; but I know Don...and I think I said something like “You did what you knew you had to do.”.
Now, the war in Kuwait is long gone. Don knew I knew what his diagnosis meant. : Don knew and I know, that the leak could well have been an early sabotage thwarted completely by Don’s action; for the fields had to be burned down during the war making them useless for Hussain and delaying Kuwait’s petroleum assets. Don did get Kidney cancer. His company met and exceeded all requirements for his care..including much research and development. Don “They have paid for everything.”. I don’t remember the name of the company, but Don said they stood by him throughout all the terrible illness did to Don’s life, liberty, and pursuit of a risk in the name of a decision, which had to be made, in that tiny, brief moment of Don’s professional career.
Cap passed to Jesus in 1990 14 days after a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. He also was performing and inventing R&D for both hardware and software as computers entered the world. He was involved with the communication and use of development of ‘credit cards’; and also wrote hardware/software for the mortgage industry which he had copyrighted by going, in person, to the Library of Congress and the Patent Department because it “was interesting and fun.”.

Don was a leader: We went on a hike down “Bright Angel Trail”, switch-back down into the Grand Canyon and back up, hiking. When the bunch of people got together, no-one knew the others in the group, and we were spread out along the trail. That night there was a campfire. Some like me, were tired and just went to bed, trying to decide how the heck I was going to hike-UP Bright Angel Trail; but Don with others sat around the campfire with quiet talking and laughing. ..
I started to overhear. I heard Don talking and sharing.... and the group became a whole of individual, persons sharing with each other - experiences. You might doubt that Don made a difference; but the group didn’t start talking at all until just after the campfire got started... It was after Don related an experience that laughter and warmth of the fire and surroundings that opened the sharing. Don and I shared love of genuine, “sneak preview movies” at Fox Village, hiking, tennis, fishing (except me - I couldn’t kill the worm or the fish - used salmon eggs and never caught anything). Mother, Dad, Cap, Don, myself never said, out-loud, much about our love for each other, though at that time it wasn’t the word...just a way of keeping in touch with what moved heart in love of learning and life of sharing with complete Trust in each other. I was very independent, didn’t join-in; as well as a ‘big sister’. Don often had to ‘tolerate’ under very trying circumstances only the little brother of a family often does, or persevere, because that’s also learning Nature’s God.
Don was a risk-taker: He went one of the last basic training classes in Monterrey Bay, CA and was chosen to attend Officers Candidate School at Fort Benning. . He telephoned me from Fort Benning one day. I was very surprised and very proud and pleased. He said “I’m going to quit this!”. Much words to the dictatorial, unreasonable, punishing attitudes of the “Sargent” or whatever rank was involved. I just listened... then I heard this: “If the shoes in your locker are not on the line, absolutely correct, the whole area is torn apart.”I was an RN-Diploma Grad at the time working at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles in the then 4West Cancer - leukemia area.

He then worked with the R&D which developed ‘night vision’ glasses - though that was ‘classified’ at the time. I think he left the service a Captain.
Years passed and there were problems with Ilene, me, Nicole and Jim; but the highlight for me was being a “Chaperon” accompanying Nicole’s 8th Grade class to Washington DC for the up at 5am, bed at 2am, about 6 day tour which included Mt. Vernon, Montecito, Gettysberg, with lunch at Pennsylvania Dutch Restaurant of “Bump don’t Bell”. Should PeePeeAA be forced upon the Congress and therefore the State Legislators?
